Successful projects are shaped not only by craftsmanship, but also by the people behind them. Working with Levents and Margita — an entrepreneurial couple with a strong belief in quality — made it clear from the beginning that this collaboration would be special.
Their vision was to create a Belgian waffle café at Riga International Coach Terminal, where quality would guide every detail. For their interior, we developed a fully bespoke furniture solution focused on durability, sustainability, and structural strength.
The counter is built from lacquered Latvian birch plywood for long‑term stability, with solid oak worktops finished in Osmo oil wax to preserve the natural character of the wood. A stainless‑steel surface ensures resilience in the waffle‑baking area. The front facade combines veneered plywood with a decorative oak lattice — a subtle reference to the waffle pattern.
To complete the design, we added an aged brass plinth that brings tonal harmony with the oak elements while offering durability in a high‑traffic environment.
A calm, functional, and quietly refined space — crafted to reflect the values behind the brand.
